The Black Dog inspires creativity -- its high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and spacious tables encourage daydreaming, journaling, doodling and other precursors to art making.

Responding to David Goldstein's Letter (#1)
Wednesday 26 June @ 10:44:08
Letters to the EditorYour one-sided diatribes blasting Israel and supporting the Palestinians hardly uphold the principle of journalistic objectivity (if that's what you purport to accomplish in the PULSE). Thankfully, David Goldstein said “ENOUGH!”

I cannot commend him enough for “setting the record straight.” His article was both courageous and factual (unlike previous PULSE items on the Near East). My question to PULSE writers who are unabashedly Pro Palestinian is this: Given documented Palestinian distortions of events in Jenin, Bethlehem, and elsewhere, why does the PULSE (and other left-wing American media) insist on granting credibility to the Palestinians? When journalists deal with totalitarian, closed regimes like the Palestinian Authority, they should know by now that officially prepared and released information must be viewed with a certain level of skepticism.
