The Black Dog inspires creativity -- its high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and spacious tables encourage daydreaming, journaling, doodling and other precursors to art making.

Don’t whine–organize
Wednesday 12 July @ 16:16:39
Letters to the EditorTo paraphrase Joe Hill:
Don’t whine–organize

Would the progressive democratic supporters of Keith Ellison please stop complaining about the attacks on him and start working to elect him!

Did people think that the military industrial complex, the pro-imperialist, money-gouging right wing was simply going to give us this seat in Congress? Were they going to say, “Oh, he won the DFL endorsement, I guess we will have an intelligent, anti-war, articulate, anti-imperialist from the 5th District in Minnesota? Well, if you thought that you were wrong.

We should expect the right wing to do everything they can. Marshall their liberal lapdogs like Martin Olav Sabo to run against him. Get the corporate media from Faux news to the Rats Fribune to dredge up and dissemble everything they did from the past. This is what they do. Sure it is “Swift Boating”, “Racist” or whatever else you want to call it, but I repeat.

Stop the whining. We have a congressional seat to win or to lose. I propose that we win it. Contact the Ellison campaign, send them money, work for them, talk to your friends, but most of all VOTE.

“Power concedes nothing without a demand – it never has, and it never will.”
Frederick Douglass
