RE: Pulse 3.12.03
Louis Lenzmeier’s article “All you Industry Giants Sit Down—Louis Lenzmeier sneaks his way into the Grammys” was hilarious, witty, and downright phenomenal. The fact that he got on the red carpet is amazing and he deserves a “collective pat-on-the-back.”
I love the way he shredded Joan Rivers, probably the most untalented woman in show business. I wish Louis would have told her to go away!!!

RE: Pulse 3.26.03
I couldn't help but notice this text in last week's Pulse in the article “War stirs conflicting emotions for Muslims, Arabs” buried amidst all the anti-war propaganda:
“I would support any army, even from outer space, if they help us get rid of Saddam Hussein,” said local Iraqi artist Haidar Al-Amery, who has been living in the United States for six years. “We should build a statue for George W. Bush in Baghdad,” said Minneapolis resident Hamed Kenani, another Iraqi refugee.
I hope the anti-war protesters take into account the fact that many Iraqis, having seen the horrors of Saddam Hussein's regime first-hand (and many of them having lost family members to Saddam's thugs) do not have the luxury of being “anti-war.” They know all too well that war is the only way to remove the modern-day Stalin/Hitler clone known as Saddam Hussein from power, and liberate their native country. They know, much better than anti-war protesters in America, that Saddam Hussein's regime represents torture, rape and murder, and only a war will free their country from the grip of a brutal, ruthless madman. When will the anti-war protesters hear the screams of Saddam's innocent victims? I'm waiting.

RE: Pulse 4.02.03
The United States carries on its drug war around the world even going so far as dumping deadly poisons on arable land in South America and violating the rights of millions in this country and this is just a tiny sample of what we do. It is a fact that tobacco cigarettes are more destructive and more addictive than heroin and yet we export them and push them in almost every country in the world. Millions die as a result but that is no matter to this self righteous “Great Satanic” nation.

The article “Omar Jamal, Somali activist, detained by INS” was innaccurately attributed to Phil Steger. Although Steger's press release was quoted extensively in the article, the beginning and end of the article was taken from an e-mail from Socialist Voice.
The same article mistakenly said that the INS is part of the Department of Justice. Actually, the INS is now part of the Department of Homeland Security.
