Thanks for your enlightening article on cancer. The first time I heard the words “Race for a Cure” I thought the same thing; why not race for prevention. I could easily list a hundred or so pollutants that people never think of that probably cause breast cancer and every other kind of cancer; lipstick made with petrochemicals that women eat and breathe for fifty years at a time, firearms smoke, airplane flight where one is exposed to heavy doses of cosmic radiation, incense no matter what it's made of and the list goes on and on and most of the products are completely unnecessary for human health and happiness.
But one group I would like to stress. That would be all cosmetics whether “natural” or unnatural. If you did some research I'm sure you would find dioxins and/or several other carcinogens in the packaging. In addition, think of where it all ends up...in our drink. Ask the fish if they like “natural” cosmetics filtering thru their bodies. I was asked by Aveda if I wanted to set up a table at their expo of some kind. I said I abhor cosmetics whether “natural” or unnatural so I wouldn't have anything to do with it. Cosmetics whether “natural” or unnatural are one of those very unnecessary things that are not used by people who are knowledgeable and serious about preventing pollution and breast cancer.
