 As some of you may already know, this will be my last issue as the Music Editor at the paper. When I started this job a little over two years ago I was familiar with about five local bands and had little idea where to begin with covering the local scene. Since that time I’ve been fortunate enough to meet plenty of great musicians, club owners, managers, writers, radio hosts and all-around nice people who give their heart and soul to the Twin Cities music community.

big thank-you to everyone I’ve worked with for being so inviting and letting
me take part in such an exciting and vibrant community—it’s been
an unforgettable experience. I look forward to contributing occasional writing
in the future as I move on to other pursuits, and it is with great excitement
that I hand the reins over to Steve McPherson, a talented writer and great guy
with a passion and dedication to local music that all Pulse readers will surely
appreciate.
