Worst of the Twin Cities is Absolutely the Worst in Journalism

What a complete waste of my time and the absolute Worst way to start the New Year, (The Worst of the Twin Cities,” January 2, 2003). This article is the Best representation of how low a paper can stoop in their extremely poor attempt to be humorous and creative.
I was highly offended by the references “retards”, “turds”, and “tits” and am thoroughly convinced that the authors surely must have been local middle school delinquents who threw this together while serving out their Saturday “Breakfast Club” detention time. The only thing that matches this level of crudeness is the cover illustration by an R. Crumb wannabe. While other papers are spending their energy on getting the story out to the reader, the staff of Pulse obviously made the decision to find the Best opportunity to insult all of their intelligent readers, initiate a boycott by all advertisers, and give all Jerry Springer groupies the entertaining read of their year. If this is the type of %@!#$& that Pulse intends to put out this year I won’t hesitate to throw this “trash” in the trash! This will be one New Year’s resolution I am confident to keep.
